I loved the season finale episode "A" of The Walking Dead. I thought the show finally did it really right.

This may be the first time I've watched one of the episodes again (well, at least two scenes).

I thought the scene with Rick and the gang was amazing. The actor who plays Rick, Andrew Lincoln, did a great job here. He really conveyed the stress and the magnitude of the scene. Really, really great acting.

As for the writing of the scene itself, I thought it was fantastic. The way it showed that Rick would do anything to keep him, Michonne, and Carl alive. He set aside all of his delusions that the world was a fair one. That he could make his life with his son a decent one. No. He realized he would have to turn into a monster in order to protect his and his son's life. It was fantastic. This scene, along with Carol's scene with the little girl is probably some of the best the show has put forth.

The end of the episode was excellent as well. The group realizing that the Terminus inhabitants were shooting at their feet was good writing. I loved the tie-in with the rabbit trap earlier. You knew what was going to happen, but it wasn't all in your face. I loved the absolute full-circle Rick took, when, at the end, in the train car, he was their leader. The leader they needed. A ruthless one. A take no prisoners leader. Not the wishy-washy leader of the prison that they had to coddle. Nope. This was a leader who knew what needed to be done.

Well done, The Walking Dead. It took you all season, but you finally got some good episode in during the last three of the season. Now, if you can do this every episode next season, you might just deserve all the accolades you get.

This is my "The Walking Dead Thoughts" blog.

Thanks for a good end to the season!

I'm finally all caught up on the show!

Spoiler alerts.

I thought yesterday's episode was just okay. The fact that shows keep having these episodes that are season finales before the actual season finale is annoying. True Blood does this too. They have an explosive second to last or third to last episode that is really good, and then the season finale does nothing but set up the next season.

I know that they have been working toward this terminus all late-season season. Just, I wish that the season finale would be the big to-do, not an episode a couple episodes back.

I hope they prove me wrong with this finale.

My "Packing is a pain" blog thanks to Godaddy coupon sigler295

GoDaddy coupon code sigler295 is a wonderful coupon because it gets you a domain for $2.95.

Ugh. We are moving in about a month. Packing is already a pretty daunting task, but it is even more so when you have back pain and can't bend at the waist. I just did two drawers today and my back is already tired.

I luckily have friends coming over tonight to help with a few items. I have saved up a slew of old drugs in a chest and I think I will just have them throw all of that away.

However, can you do that? Or do you need to drop old meds off at a pharmacy? Can they go into a landfill or not. Ughh. One more question.

I can tell you one thing though, I am throwing a ton of stuff out. That's because with the back pain, I don't want to have to UNPACK everything again. I just don't have that kind of stamina. So the less I have to pack, the less I have to unpack.

That means major purging time. I have a philosophy that half of what I am doing that day gets thrown out. No matter what. No maybes. No what ifs. It just all goes.

I might even take a second pass at everything again if I can! Or maybe when I unpack, I'll just start throwing stuff away. No that doesn't make sense because then I have to pay for it.

Well, hopefully my back lasts. That's the plan with trying to do something a little bit each day. That way I don't get overwhelmed. Well, I am overwhelmed, but maybe not overexerted is a better way to look at it.
